Join Beaumont Hospital and the Troy Historical Society for a walk on The Clinton River Trail and Bloomer Park Thursday, March 12 at 5:00 pm.


Meet on the Clinton River Trail, 2nd Street Trailhead, Rochester (near where 2nd St becomes Letica Dr., just west of Elizabeth Street) Extra parking: Rochester Avon Recreation Authority, 500 E 2nd Street.


From the 2nd Street trailhead just outside downtown Rochester, walkers will head northwest on the Clinton River Trail, pick up the old canal trail for a bit and then continue on the beautiful riverside hiking trails of Bloomer Park. Distance: 1 – 3 miles.


All ages and levels of fitness are welcome!

Troy Parks and Rec will host a walk and a bike ride on the Clinton River Trail March 28 and April 4, respectively, starting at 10 a.m.  Click here for details.

Walking Wednesdays 10 a.m.


OPC members: Reap the benefits of walking outdoors with weekly walks along the Clinton River Trail, other nearby scenic trails, and take advantage of our new outdoor fit park at the OPC in Rochester. The 1.5-3 mile weekly walk includes warm-up and cool down. All fitness levels welcome! (OPC members only: Free to residents of Rochester, Rochester Hills and Oakland Township; nominal membership for non-residents.) Indoor walking during inclement weather. Meet in the upper level lobby.
