Adams Road HAWK Ribbon Cutting Celebration

A new HAWK beacon was installed on Adams Road in Rochester Hills at the Leach Road Trailhead.

For years, FCRT has advocated for a safer crossing from the Leach Road Trailhead to shopping and restaurants on the north side of Adams Road. The City of Rochester Hills and the Road Commission for Oakland County collaborated to make the crossing become a reality. Late last fall a new HAWK beacon and marked crosswalk were installed. Join Friends of the Clinton River Trail in Rochester Hills to celebrate this new active transportation and recreation infrastructure.

Rochester Washout Restoration Community Update Meeting

The Clinton River Trail remains closed between Rochester Junction and Dequindre Road due to the 120 foot wide rupture in the berm supporting the trail which occurred near Mile Marker 1/2 in Rochester. This gap has been labeled ‘Washout #1’ to distinguish it from a second similarly serious washout in downtown Rochester east of M-150 Rochester Road.

The Clinton River Trail washout has impacted many in our community. From morning runs to family bike rides, nature walks to bird watching, the Clinton River Trail serves everyone.
